Newbie

Okay...I'm jumping on the bandwagon and going to try my own blog out. Maybe this can be a sort of virtual diary. I know a lot of family members and friends would like to know about our daily happenings and such. So, this can be a way for me to tell a cute story about Carter once...rather than the normal 80 times. But I'm sure I'll tell the same story to random customers at work.

Here's the latest story about Carter:
While I was at work on Saturday, Brady called because he was concerned Carter needed stitches...again! Aparently, Carter and Brady were playing and Carter jumped on Brady's back and fell off into the coffee table...eye first. I told Brady to go see our neighbor, who is a nurse, so she could check the damage. I told Brady to call me back after he talked with the neighbor.

After about 15 minutes, I tried calling Brady. I felt that he should've called already. No answer. I called 5 minutes after that. Brady picked up, but he didn't know it. I heard Brady and the neighbor chatting away about the latest storm to roll through. I was screaming his name, but he never heard me. By this time I was already on my way home. I was nervous that we were going to have to go back to the ER after having been there just a month ago, so I took off work early.

By the time I reached home, Brady and Carter were happily playing outside. The cut on Carter was on the outside corner of his right eyelid. It didn't look bad either, but I could see how Brady would be worried. Now the hard part about it is trying to put Bacitracin on it.
